Our Team
We are a small team of individuals who all believe in the same thing:
Dogs deserve the same shot at early cancer detection that humans do. Different backgrounds, one mission — giving dogs more time.
Shahab Matin
Shahab is the founder and CEO of testblu. With a background spanning engineering, AI, data science and technology consulting, he founded testblu to bring advanced computational methods into earlier and more accessible cancer diagnostics. He leads the company’s vision, technology strategy and product development.
Dr Sven Sewitz
Sven is a scientist and entrepreneur with more than 20 years of experience across genomics, molecular biology, data science and life sciences innovation. An Oxford-trained biochemist with an academic background in genome biology, he has subsequently worked at the interface of science, technology, product development and commercialisation. At testblu, he leads scientific strategy, partnerships and commercial translation.
Adriano Pitoni
Adriano leads finance and business operations at testblu, bringing a strong focus on financial planning, fundraising and company development. He works across the organisation to translate testblu’s scientific and commercial ambitions into a scalable business and financing strategy.
Dr Stefan Budach
Stefan holds a PhD in bioinformatics and previously worked on liquid biopsy-based early cancer detection in humans. At testblu, he leads bioinformatics and machine learning development.
Gayathri Srinivasan
Gayathri is a Workstudent in Bioinformatics at testblu and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Bioinformatics at Freie Universität Berlin. With experience in computational biology, genomics and machine learning, she contributes to the development of the computational pipeline behind testblu’s early cancer detection platform.
Aindrila Majumdar
Aindrila is testblu's marketing intern, with a background in pharmacy (B.Pharma) and business (MBA). She leads social media, audience engagement and website operations, while supporting investor outreach, veterinarian outreach strategy, and market research to shape go-to-market planning.
